Live Your Own Life

Have ever found out that someone you admire is not everything that you imagined? Sometimes in life we have idols or mentors that can shape our future. Some people actually worship every word that a particular person says. Living a life idolizing someone else is extremely unfulfilling.

While it is good to have a role model, your life should not be based on someone else’s. You must walk your own path in this life. That person that you admire cannot live your life for you. You must search for your own destiny. You cannot waste anymore time dwelling on anything but your own calling.

If you want to be remembered as someone special, you must be willing to walk alone. As of right now, you may not think that you are important, but you are definitely wrong. Surely there is something special about you. You probably have a talent that you do not wish to pursue.

Everyone has a hidden talent, and if you do not use what the universe has given you, time will quickly wash away your future. The fact that you are alive and healthy is a special privilege that many sick and dying people beg for. You must be brave and believe in yourself. You cannot put your dreams and aspirations in the hands of someone else.

If there is someone that you greatly admire, you should try and copy all of their good qualities. You cannot afford to live through someone else anymore though. It is your time to inspire the rest of the world. As Sergio Andrade Gutierrez says, “Carpe Diem.”
